Chinese new year goatHappy Chinese New Year to you!

I do love to celebrate Chinese New Year! I love that it’s all about good company, tasty food and wishing abundance upon everyone around you (not to mention saving a little for yourself too).

There are great rituals around preparing for the new year such as cleaning out the old and making sure we are well prepared for the new year. You can check out the tips here.

I also love this piece of advice for living well in this lunar new year of the goat, sheep or ram (the Chinese word for them all is the same).

“It is important to believe in happiness, to do good deeds and to have more faith. Be receptive, contemplate and rest. Cultivate your intuition and instinct and it will increase and help you make the right decisions. Get more grounded and look inward. Heal your past wounds and let go. Take time to be quiet. Use your heart to make important decisions. Be generous. Practice patience. Care for yourself and others more. Slow down and enjoy life….”

I’m a Year of the Goat person so I feel like it’s a special one for me. A big cheers to all of my fellow ‘goat people’ out there.

May all of my readers and your families experience abundance of health, wealth and happiness.
